Life Pt. 3 & 4

Hey everyone! Hope y'all are doing well, especially in the Florida Panhandle. So I'll start with what's been happening in my life, not like there's anything really interesting. School even though it is online is not easy or fun... at all. Like I only have 3 classes and I feel like I am taking 6. I understand that this is how it will be for the year (most likely), but I think any student misses being on campus and seeing college friends. I actually was supposed to be an RA (Resident Assistant) at my school, but because of my anxiety, depression, and lack of money, I decided staying home would be the best thing. Other than that, I am still getting caught up in all my classes. Just really hoping this semester only gets better!
The highlight of my week was my boyfriend coming to visit me this past weekend!! We haven't seen each other for a long time (3 MONTHS) because of the pandemic and other circumstances. It was just what I needed and wanted. It is hard being in a long distance relationship (which I will discuss more in a separate post), but it is always worth it if you love and want to be with that person. He makes me really happy and I'm so thankful to be with someone who understands and accepts me.
As I mentioned earlier, hoping everyone in the Florida Panhandle is doing good. Hurricane Sally really kicked our a****, way more than expected. I tried to get gas the night before, which was an awful idea, and every single gas station had a line. Thank god I knew I wasn't gonna go anywhere and still had some gas, but people were really thinking it was gonna be another Hurricane Ivan. There was a lot of rain and wind that kept many people up all night. Pensacola got hit pretty bad, like the bridge is now closed because of damage and downtown was underwater. My family and I were good, we just had a ton of flooding on our street and debris everywhere. Of course, many people lost power, internet, and even their belongings. Everything is replaceable, just not people. So I'm grateful for the community lending a helping hand to whoever needs it.
Other than that I'm really trying to change what I do. I am honestly a very lazy homebody. I love staying home, mainly because it's familiar and comfortable. Except with anxiety and depression, it probably isn't the best to stay home all the time. So I am trying to be more active by taking walks, at home exercises, and yoga/stretching. Moving your body is the best thing so I need to start doing that more. Please give me some motivation lol.
If anyone wants to give ideas or have anything specific they would like me to post, feel free email or message me! I hope everyone has a better week than the last!!
